What do the different Order Status mean?
Posted by MySN UK on 08 January 2013 04:52 PM

When an order in placed through mysn.co.uk it will immediately appear in your customer account (which you can access here https://mysn.co.uk/shop/customer/account/login/ ). The first page you reach is "Account Dashboard" and this details the account order history which includes "Status". As your order progresses, the Order Status will be updated accordingly. The specific Status updates depend on the payment method used as follows:

Orders Placed Via Bank Transfer:

1/ Pending - this confirms that the order has been received by our system correctly and that the customer has received an automated email with the details of the order and relevant bank transfer details for both GBP and EURO payments. Customers are advised to email sales@mysn.co.uk when they have made the bank transfer payment, using their Order Number as the payment reference.

2/ Processing - when our accounting team confirm the receipt of the payment, the order status will be updated to "Processing".

3/ Accepted By Production - this status confirms that the order has been passed from the sales department to the production facility. It covers the whole production process from being in a build queue (depending on how busy production is at the time), through production and testing/quality control (QC). This process usually takes 3-6 business days.

4/ Shipping - this confirms that the order has passed testing/QC and that it has been booked for shipment. All shipments leave production at approximately 6pm CET (5pm GMT) and the shipping information is automatically emailed to each customer. The DHL tracking numbers are created when the shipment is booked by production, though they will not be active on the DHL website until scanned into the DHL depot a couple of hours later.

Card Payment Orders:

NOTE - there is no "Pending" status with card payments

1/ Processing - confirms that the card transaction is complete and that the ordering system has received the order correctly

2/ Accepted By Production - this status confirms that the order has been passed from the sales department to the production facility. It covers the whole production process from being in a build queue (depending on how busy production is at the time), through production and testing/quality control (QC). 3/ Shipping - this confirms that the order has passed testing/QC and that it has been booked for shipment. Once you have completed the V12 appliaction online you will be notified by them to confirm the outcome of the application. NOTE - the estimated build schedule of 5-7 business days is not a guarantee and can be affected by a number of factors such as the production load during a certain period, public holidays and so on. Under these conditions, the Testing and Quality Control processes are not compromised so whilst the conditions may slightly increase the build time, the notebook you receive will still be of the same stability and quality.

Please also see here for more information on the Order Schedule time frame, it includes the current estimate for order times and is updates frequently:
