How can I create my own personal recovery media (dvd/usb)
Posted by on 11 July 2014 01:46 PM

You can, after initial setup of your notebook or Windows Tablet, easily create your own recovery media. This medium already contains all the drivers and all programs and settings that you have installed at this time. With such a recovery media, you can reset your device very easily in an optimal initial state - without the hassle of reinstalling Windows.

There are many ways to do a system restore - The best and most complete method is that of a complete recovery drive. Since such a recovery media is bootable, you can order Windows to recover (or reset) if their installation will not boot properly due to a software defect.

To create such a recovery media, please follow this step-by-step guide: http://windows.microsoft.com/de-de/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive

Tip: use a USB hub for creating a recovery medium at SCHENKER ELEMENT. Thus you can connect a USB keyboard and a USB stick simultaneously.
